this 0/0 ebay selling limit is crazy
 

I opened 10 new stealth account this week,all of them got hit with 0/0 selling limit,it seems it only happening to us sellers,cause european account works fine.
No matter what work around you tried it doesn't work unless only you call them
that's a 20% chance they will lift it.

Maybe that's a new security feature.

I used the same apps i have been using for a long time,sorry cannot reveal it.but its definitely not the phone cause i have other friends getting the same situation and they using original numbers from us.

Over the past few days, whilst creating bulk accounts, I've noticed ebay asking to verify by phone/text - which was unusual! It now seems they're laying off this tactic, for now!

Maybe this is some security measure implemented off the back of the hacking they've been facing?

im having the same problem seems every new account I open and make a sellers it has 10 at first then bam 0/0. I'm trying a new approach buy making a new account then buying stuff at first for abit then make it a sellers and see how it gose. im thinking that when u make a brand new 0 feedback account into a sellers then it throws up a red flag and then gets hit with 0/0.

My stealth account has 10 limit when I opened it too

I started listing slowly, like one cheap item every few days

It is fine for 3 weeks now

somebody was saying on another forum topic that the ebay agent asked why her area code didn't match her ip address location.

Its very VERY wise to have STEALTH accounts with address that are within lets say 60 miles of the ip address location. If you need a wider range give it 100 miles. But I wouldnt go further out then that. Having your physical address match up or at least within range of where your ip address says you are, will give Ebay more peace of mind. And a better chance of not getting flagged.

i made 3 accounts recently all have 10/1000 limit. not sure what you guys are doing...

I got asked that once, maybe a year or two ago. I use a mobile hotspot so I told them that my dad lives in xx state and he owns/pays the bill. Maybe I got a easy going agent, but they took it.

Hey just something interesting I found out. The new beast that is called ebay doesnt seem to like Apt building addresses at all. I mean at all before I could get away with it occasionally now nope.
I made 12 accounts yesterday. 10 Perfect no problems 10/1000 the last 2 , 0/0
What they had in common apt building addresses.
So for everyone out there having a tough time of it still maybe stay away from those.

Possibly a brain fart; but maybe as most appt buildings are rented, and deemed a high risk? Who knows? Around my way, most appts are rented by low paid, blue collar workers, and the tenant turnover is very high. Possibly a risk factor there.

I think this is ebays way of just not wanting to many sellers because of those hackers that messed up their website by listing auctions with malicious web pages.

My lesson learned was to NOT use apt addresses.
To date I have made 30 accounts with my new methods and 28 out of 30 were successful
only 2 that were not were the ones with the apartment building addresses. I just think its a popular stealth go to, just like the free textplus and pinger apps for phone numbers, and ebay figured that out. And if you have those its almost guaranteed a 0/0 limit

i think i messed up the other day i put the wrong zip for the name i was using i used same city but i used a different zip because the city has like 3 zips.
