| | | Omgoozle | 10-11-2014 02:57 PM | Cap on Windows 7 User Accounts? My computer is having issues adding more than 110 user accounts to my Windows 7 machine.
When I go into Control Panel, I click user accounts and I get the timer icon, then no response.
I had this issue last week at 105 accounts, but then this week I was able to add 5 more, but I can't access the add/remove user accounts page to fix the issue or make any changes to any of the accounts.
Anyone else having this problem? |
Re: Cap on Windows 7 User Accounts? Woah 110 UA, you should really consider using VMware, can manage all your accounts from one user account. Message me if you need help setting it up |

You can create folders and run a portable firefox that only saves cookie data inside its appropriate folder. Process of creating accts has become 10x faster. |
| easy.bake.oven | 10-11-2014 08:45 PM | Re: Cap on Windows 7 User Accounts? search for 'netcplwiz.exe' on your pc and double click it.
you can add and remove windows users from there.
if u delete a user from there, you must also delete the actual user folder as it will not do it auto from netcplwiz.exe |

I havent used it again since, didnt want to risk it. Ips were always different and tracked, some never even sold on. Every firefox portable account shut down, none of my others were. |

Re: Cap on Windows 7 User Accounts? I still prefer using different user accounts but 110 on a machine could be too heavy - maybe invest in another machine to split? |

I have a 'Template' folder set up, with the .exe extension altered to .exe_ so that I can't accidently open the browser and change any of my templated settings. Part of my creation process is to copy that Template, assign a new identity and then correct the .exe extension so that I can actually open the browser.
Note that the Template (obvioulsy) has no history, cookies, etc of any kind and has all settings adjusted to my liking. |
| pr0wake | 10-13-2014 01:30 PM | Re: Cap on Windows 7 User Accounts? one way to make FF portable work is to only access them through the guest account
not sure if windows has the same setup a mac, but when you leave the guest user, all temporary internet files/settings go along with it
for my mac, I have the guest user customized to my liking with all my favorite settings, finder folders, homepages, etc. After accessing or creating any account, I restart the computer which wipes everything, but leaves cookies in the FF mobile app.
not one problem since |

There are more than a few members with more than 100. |
