phone verification

Hi there
Im currently formulating a plan which i have been advised to post on here before starting.
The stealth book mentions not using a.landline. is my best option to.buy a mobile sim card. Its just that in the past i have used a burner app which gives me a disposable number land line number for the area i want to trade from. And its always worked. I though ebay would more likely to frown upon mobile verification. With a landline matched to my area would.appear more truthful to them....wouldnt it??
thanks for any advice

Re: phone verification

Its an android app that is free to sign up with. You select your.country in a.drop down menu and then use a.further scroll down menu to choose area within that country.
You then get your number. You can have the number for.30 days or 365 days. Whichever you.choose, you can extend it if you.wish to. Very cheap and i have used it many times to.verify ebay

Vodafone sim cards work a treat. Never had any issues.

Re: phone verification

I notice you are in the UK.
30 days = 1.90
365 days = 18.70
All.numbers get transferrwd.to.your.mobile.device

Please.be warned as.someone.quite rightly.mentioned in another thread.......
......when.you.buy.number and.choose.not.to.renew it.after expirey, it goes.back into.pool of.n7mbers for other people to.choose. There is.no.way of.knowing for certain that your.number hasnt.already.been used by a.suspended.user.
Im new to.this.forum.and still.learning myaelf but.i was.under the impression that if a.n7mber has.been used.with ebay.before...it would.tell.you and reject it. I dont know for aure whether its worth the risk of.setting everything up and then mess.it.all up over a.phone number. Im thinking a.new.sim card.may be the way. Hope.someone else.coyld.elaborate on this.
