Anonabox

Anyone see this on kickstarter; Anonabox? It is going to be a router that anonymizes internet activity. Possibly could be used for stealthing purposes? It does utilize Tor from what I've read, not exactly sure how it works, but figured I would post to get everyone's thoughts. Link posted below.

Re: Anonabox

Amazon, eBay and PayPal do not like Tor/proxy IP address connections. They consider it high risk and abusive and will put your account on hold pending verification before they allow you to do anything. It's not for stealth.

Use of TOR is a failure - these platforms know about this service

Again, this is one of the major confusions with stea/lth for new people. It's not about being anonymous.

Better to use donlges or phone tethering if you cannot change your home IP address.

All you need to do is prevent your IP address from linking accouts.

sadly no.

TOR makes the hypothesis fail.

TOR is counterproductive to proper stealth, actually.

That's what I figured, but you never know! Thanks
For everyone's input.

Also Progams like HideMy@ss do not work and are not worth using.

Yowza...now it's blowing up that this is a hoax along with many other kickstarters over the years. The box matches the WT3020A from Alib.aba for $20 and even has the same model number written on it.

Last year, there was some people selling a $300 smartwatch that was just a $100 smartwatch from Alib.aba too. SOOO many sca.ms and I sometimes just hate that this stupid kickstart fad was ever started. It's always just selfish a$$holes asking for free f*cking handouts.

What's worse is the spinoffs it created like "GoFundMe" where individuals just start random pages because they need some money and then they spam everyone on social media outlets begging for cash. This f*cking society is worthless.

Yea, the watch I mentioned before raised a large amount too. There are other big hoaxes that have happened, but too many to list. The platforms have become totally abused and unfortunately, it's up to diligent consumers to call these sca.mmers out first.

Um, that's a worry then.

Diligence and buyers/consumers are not often bedmates.

Re: Anonabox

I know. That's how these a-holes raise so much money. People just believe whatever they see. Once it goes viral, people start to research a bit more and find the truth. Then it has to be reported to get removed.

Dead giveaways are campaigns that don't actually show the product working or use a lot of CGI renders.

Either way, I only buy products that are on the shelf ready to go. I don't buy fairy tale dreams or give charity handouts. Only time I spend money is to grow my business anyways.
