im flapping :-(
 

Ive just set up my first stealth paypal.but open.getting account.confirmed, they have sent.a.code. Have checked my online banking.and.no.code.there. In the past it.was.immediate. im panicking its because of.my stealth name.
Am i.doomed before i have even started? :-(

Is this this adding a bank account to get the code? or adding a vcc to confirm address?

If you are adding your bank account and the account is under 48 hours old, the bank account is probably still in the process of being set up. Which is why the code is not showing as yet. It takes about three days sometime for Rbs & natwest accounts to work properly, but once set up the code will show. No need to stress :)

A vcc code takes about 3 days to show on the statement.

Yes it will say that because the bank account is open.. but the account is not old enough to show the deposits yet.. you need to wait for it to be open for at least 48 hours before adding to paypal if you want the code to show immediately.

If you add it before this time, you will need to wait until the 48hours. It will probably be there tomorrow after 3am.

you can wait if you want, but it wont matter if you add them now or not.
You will only be able to confirm address with the vcc once you have verified your bank account though.

Il wait...im in no hurry.
Can i.ask you a quick question as you are online and from the uk. I understand that you cannot get VBA's in the UK...so how does one open so many bank accounts. Before i went stealth i had three banks linked to ebay running different accounts so those ones are dead now. Im just worried that eventually you run out of banks. I know i sound confusing. Im just worried that soon my bank account options will run out.

You can use savings accounts which are easy to open online. Just not ISA savings accounts.

Its going into the third day now and still not.received code.upon adding it to paypal. Im starting to get more worried now. Bank used is halifax

Upon adding my bank account i meant to.say..keep checking my internet banking.but nothing showing. Its been 2 1/2 days since adding bank account with paypal

What bank account is it ? Basic account Reward account or Savings account with halifax?

That account needs more than 48 hours to set up.. savings accounts take 24-48hours which you can open without hassle with online banking.

You need like 3-4 days with the Basic account.

I added my bank account last.friday at around 10pm and.keep checking my online banking for 4 digit code. Still nothing. Does it really take this long.

no it definitely shouldnt.. If you go to the bank account on paypal, there should be an option to resend the code.

No...cant find anyway to ask for resend of code. Im flummoxed as to what to do. I wish the classic.site desktop site was easy to find as can navigate great with that :-)

May be worth giving them a ring.

Often PP can help with this sort of issue over the phone.

The only other option i am.offered is to remove bank account. Is it a.no.no to remove it and then readd it?

Usually fine to ring PP for this sort of issue. Just make sure you have all your infomation to hand :thumb:

Drum roll again....i emailed them and they sent code immediately so now have withdrawal limits lifted. What happens with the entropay part? Have added it a few days ago but nothing else has happenned there?
still havent made ebay account yet. Thought i should wait till paypal is.completely complete?

Forgot to say...i joined.entropay with real details and added funds. Then created a sub card and added funds. This sub card is what i gave paypal. This was done on the 18th...so almost a week. Is that considered normal. I sure hope i dont have problems with this part of paypal :-)

No...not that im aware of. Find the.paypal mobile site hard to.navigate to be honest. I just know that i added the entropay details :-)

you have to go to the card information details on paypal and click 'confirm address'
and then the code will be sent to your card statement in 3-5 days lol..

Ive scrawled around and.cannot.find confirm address at all. Whatever i do, it takes me to mobile site each time and its so confusing :-(
