Visa 3V Shopping Gift Cards (£25) - Can be used as a VCC?

Hi,

Just bought a 3V Internet shopping card, can this be used as a VCC?

And then can this card be used for anything outside of ebay? petrol, internet shopping etc without it clashing with ebay.

And does this have an expire date on them, and would the ebay account need updating with a new VCC in a year etc?

Yes can be used with PayPal to buy things, add to your 3V account, make sure the details on your 3V account match the PayPal details and add the card.

Yes they are valid for 1 year.

So the details on the 3V need to be the same as my stealth details i've just created?

The 3V will need to pass the AVS check so it will need to have the same details as the stealth account.

1 3V can be used per stealth. It can be used to confirm the address and fund the PayPal but you will still need a bank account to verify the PayPal

So long as your 3V address matches your stealth address, the AVS check PP will do will pass.

You can't spend 3v cards in store for petrol etc, but can be used online anywhere that accept visa

When you add the 3V to PayPal the address on 3V will need to be the same as the address on 3V

Another question regarding the expiry date on these. They have a year from when you activate them.

Does paypal notify you when this card expires so you can add a new card, or is it one you need to make a note of?

paypal do send notice.


What I have done is add the VCC details to my excel file, including the expiry date. That works for me.

If this is registered to a stealth address, and i have no access to that address i can not purchase things and send them to my home address then? Go can only buy 'digital' items?

If you do not have access to the address registered on eBay then you cannot have item delivered

Sorry i'm confusing things with internet shopping and ebay shopping.

I don't have access to my address. I know its not proper stealth but many people do not.

So Is the name and address are the same as 3V and paypal. Can i then use the 3V outside of ebay to purchase things, or would this fail as the account is not going to the registered name and address. And by digital i mean outside ebay/paypal.
