MC011 Your eBay selling account has been restricted



Hello xxxxxxxxxxxxx,

A review of your eBay account has raised some concern that your use of services may not meet the guidelines in eBay's User Agreement. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Selling privileges have been temporarily restricted. You won't be able to list new items. You're also not allowed to register a new account.

I dont know why my account is restricted. I have 100% feedback, sold first item over 1000$, there is a good limits, 250/12500$.
What i should to do, need to call them?

From my experience no chance of getting it back. Get any funds out of your paypal. That could be next. Go stealth there's loads of good sellers on this site.

Temporarily is just being tossed around...you can call them to try to sort it out - nothing to lose

I called them, they said i get message with instructions how unblock my account. Now over 2 weeks, no message.

I think need to drop this account.

Drop the account or retry the call saying what you have just stated

Don't wait around for them to unblock the account, start creating some new stealth accounts.

Having said that, there is no harm in trying to call again to see what is going on. If the MC011 did not list what they want (usually receipts for items, or proof of ID) then this could have been a mistake. I once got an MC011 and my items were ended. It said I needed to provide them with the following to restore my account, but the space under it was blank. I called eBay and played dumb. The rep told me that they DID restrict my account, but she could not find a reason why. She said she would call me back after speaking with her supervisor. An hour later she called and told me they restored the account, but that their Trust & Safety department could still limit it again and provide their reasons so I could appeal.

Since it was restored, I started listing again, all of the items they had taken down.

The account exists to this day.

I **DID** check each item to see if I could find any listing violations, but there were none.

The bottom line is, you have NOTHING TO LOSE except a little bit of your time by TRYING to save the account. But if the MC011 gave you a laundry list of things they wanted, and you cannot provide them, THEN it is time to say bye-bye to the account.
