virtual address vs buying

In regards to my first stealth account.....set it all up properly. Left it for a.couple of weeks and then listed one item every few days. Got some bids and they all end from.tomorrow onwards
Now to make me look like a.newbie, i have bidded on.a.couple of things which i knew i wouldnt win.
The problem is that im concious i havent bought on thia account. You may have remembered.from a previous post that i bought a.virtual address that only.accepts mail in my name....bad move i know.
Anyway, it was suggested on this forum that i could buy a.couple of.mega cheap things that i dont care about not receiving. Im about to do this, only twice. I then wait a.little while and leave feedback as if ive received.
My concern is that the seller sends my little purchase with a return address on back. A lot of people do that right?
The virtual office company might then return to sender. The seller will receive back and then think its a bit dodgy that ive left glowing feedback for something returned to them. Then in turn report this to ebay = me shut down.
Would you suggest that i risk this or just keep this account as a.sellers only account. The items on this account are purely low cost items, so returns are not.going to.cripple me as i will just refund and tell them to keep item
I would really appreciate your thoughts on this coz this is my firat stealth and all is going.good in my snails pace operation lol

I think you are overthinking things.

Buying items wont make much of a difference now. Just sell at a steady rate and you will be fine.

Buying feedback is 100% worthless. All it does is waste your time and money. If you want something, get a PO box or alternative address and edit at checkout.

5 pos feedback looks better than 0 feedback to any potential buyer

Varying up your buying activity looks good as a 'real' eBayer

How much are you selling?
Makes no difference on my zero feedback accounts selling items $500-800

For what cost? At what cost?
Who has ever been banned from not buying on ebay? Who has had a review or a soft limitation from not buying?

99% of my big accounts have never bought an item. Some are a decade old, others only 5 months.

Right on yankee - the issue here is bananaappeal was looking at buying eBooks - IF you decide to do the purchasing route....can't just buy in this style, is what I'm saying - doesn't look normal
