Default Legal issues regarding Stealth Accounts.

Recently discovered this site (Hurray) and have begun with purchasing a few stealth accounts to get me back on the road. (Indefinitely suspended 12 months ago due to high % (5%) of customers opening cases open I believe)

Now this all seems brilliant, I am able to spread my risk, keep under the radar and get back selling.

However I want to know if, for whatever reason, a stealth account gets shut down, could there be possible legal implications due to using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information/documents and so on? Or do eBay/Paypal simply shut the account down and move on?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Same as any other account.
Also, if everything is stealth, how could they sue/persue YOU?

It might be just my interpretation but this question to me sounds like "what happens if I scam a lot of people and run away with the money?"

If the ammount of money is significant, they will do their best to get you and their money back.

Very wrong... again it depends on the ammount involved.
You have an IP address... it might be dynamic but your ISP knows who you are.

You will also have a bank account, police and lawyers can do things that Paypal can't... beware.

Very interesting. I never scam people and never have paypal issues(on my accounts I run or my companies)
If you are ripping people off, you should be sued/criminal etc.. You make my life and expanses higher.

Ebay and paypal are private companies, lieing to them is no different to making up a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ profile on facebook.

Making up names is not ID theft, its a grey area but its not breaking any laws. I dont know about overseas but I'm in the US and already spoke to someone in the field about this. And no I dont scam anyone, I just buy and sell junk. I live a quite life.

Agree with yotano if your not stealing anyone's identity and your not scamming people then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Send the goods you sell and always pay your fees, then all is good.
The way i see it, its perfectly legal to use a dba, i use a registered address i pay for so im.clear there, use real bank details. The only possible thibg they.could do me for is scamming and not paying fees. I dont scam and i pay my fees before they are due
So i sleep fine at night :-)

Welcome to the forums.

PP is known for being stringent on shutdowns but the level that they come after you will depend on many factors...more than likely if heavy fraud is done. But if you pay your dues, handle customers well, etc...if your acct goes limited, you would just wait for funds to be released (usually 180 days but sometimes sooner)

I totaly agree as long you send your goods and pay fees then everything will be all good aim of stealth is to beable to go back on ebay buying & selling again like giveing you a second chance use it wise you will be fine abuse the system then expect the unexpected as you do everything by the book then the worst what will happen is that your account will be limited thats where you have your other stealths waiting so you have little interuption in buying and selling on ebay

I'm not talking about scamming people or doing anything illegal.
I simply mean because ebay have suspended my account and don't want me creating a new one. If they find out I'm operating using stealth accounts is the worst they can do shut down the account?!

Just your interpretation, which is way off the mark.

Yes they will just shut your account down. They do care about their money only.
Sorry for my misinterpretation.
