Immediately hit with identity verification call
 

Hi guys, I'm new here but have thoroughly read eBay stealth. I got a 0 limit and was asked to call right away with the identity questions. Did I do something wrong or is this just random?

We here are some of the more basic questions first off how did you verify your eBay account? Did you have eBay call the number or text number to you? Also what kind of phone are you using a forward service like google voice or what I need a little bit more detail to kind of figure out what went wrong!

I had ebay call to verify, and I'm using a call/text application through my phone. Afraid this account is done for, but I dont want to make the same mistake in the future if I did something wrong. Also, I'm using a VPN if that makes a difference..

Rare to need to use a VPN if not based in the USA.

What was the reason for that?

Welcome to the forums OP.

VPN is dangerous - which one are you using? GB asked you a question about being based in the USA...if so, much better to use regular IP provider or dongle or phone tethering...
