Default £1900 Documents prior to 29th December

I have an account about to ask for documents, with light on what is happening with paypal in the UK I am hesitant to submit them.

My reset date for the year is February, I have slowed all selling down on that account so I don't hit the £1600.

Should I bite the bullet and submit before the new policy comes into effect or stay below £1600 and see what happens next year?

Losing this account is not an option as it pays off my UK credit card.

I dont think anyone can really give you the answer until the date comes round. Everyone seems to be in limbo.

It is all guessing at the moment. Many are confident that we will find a way around it and carry on as usual, some feel that we will have to run many many stealth accounts and cycle them around the £1900 annual limits.

My advice is if you value this account and have other accounts to use I would hang on for the sake of a couple of months.

I have brieftly mentioned this in another thread but from my recent experience I had a PayPal account become limited even without any docs being submitted. I was halfway to the £1600 limit so wasn't even thinking about submitting docs at the time.

I was issued with the "We need more information to confirm your identity" message without a chance to appeal.

I am hoping that I messed up somewhere and accidentally linked myself! If that's not the case then cycling accounts might even be out of the equation.
