stealth account names showing up on statements
 

Has anyone noticed certain banks don't list the name of their stealth PayPal/Amazon name in the ACH deposit line on the bank statement?

I've noticed this with amazon and eBay, but only with certain bank accounts. Bofa and WF both list the stealth account name.

If your bank doesn't list the name, the deposit comes in as something like "AMAZON-Disbursement 394854 etc"

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this, or if I've simply stumbled upon something unique. IMO this is beneficial for tax purposes -- it makes things a lot neater if you have several accounts receiving payments from several different stealth accounts, all of which don't have a bogus/mis matched name on the deposits.

My Bank of America account lists the stealth name when it gets a deposit from PP. A new stealth Amazon is getting a deposit on Tuesday and I will see if the stealth name is on that too.

TD only shows PAYPAL and AMAZON (as an example) for me

Glad to hear that. TD having any issues with mis-matching names on the ACH deposits?

Been meaning to get a few more accounts but havn't decided on what bank to go with.

Some are reporting issues.
My guess is personal accounts. I have not had this issue with business accounts although I do have issues with TD business department having horrendous service.

My TDs in both Canada and USA are working superbly
