every single time |
jeffweico | 12-20-2014 03:53 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" Are these all on one PC? Has anything on he PC changed? |
slokor | 12-20-2014 10:02 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" Are you using a separate windows user account for each account? That right there might be your problem. |

Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" Are you deleting cookies all the time? Don't need to if you keep separate user accounts per eB/pp account |
Breakthecycle2 | 12-21-2014 02:24 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" I use separate IP's and fresh user accounts, however, for multiple stealths I use different browsers for each. In other words, I'll use Chrome, Firefox and Explorer. I have be doing this for some time, but up until a month ago, it was very rarely I'd run into this. |
GreenBean | 12-21-2014 03:42 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" What did you do a month ago then?
Change anything?
Add or delete anything on the 'puter?

peterspike | 12-21-2014 04:22 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" Somehow your calendar and clock times have changed. I guarantee this is the problem.
Go to your time and date settings and change them to today's date and time that will fix it. :thumb: |

seems like a glitch | Sometimes if you let the account cooldown for a few days, it will be fine. |

I get this annoying screen mostly when I'm trying to perform transactions involving banks, for instance sending echecks and adding funds. |

What do you think?

Breakthecycle2 | 01-01-2015 01:37 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" It happens to every account, every time. Adding a bank account, withdrawing money. It doesn't matter. It even happen to a "real" account I used for months until the other day when that got limited. |
yankee | 01-01-2015 01:38 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" I have never once have had this issue. I wonder what the difference is. |
Breakthecycle2 | 01-01-2015 01:45 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" Can you share how you set up accounts? What kind of IP are you using? mifi? tether? |
yankee | 01-01-2015 02:00 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" Most of my accounts are on dedicated IP and I have ten on Comcast router swapping(usually keeps same IP for weeks and months per router/accounts combo)
I did swap PCs a handful pf times in a week about two weeks with no cookies and did not have an issue, but would have had the same IP.
I do use mifi and Ipad cellular accounts, but have not used them recently recently. I only use those for big items for local pickup because of the hassle of printing labels from IPad. |
Breakthecycle2 | 01-01-2015 02:14 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" Hmm. I use a new user account for each account but am using a T-Mobile hotspot. I wonder if that has something to do with it. |

I use the switch app on Ipad(separate user accounts) |
Breakthecycle2 | 01-01-2015 02:26 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" It's weird. Some of us get it no matter what, some of us don't at all. The funny thing is I can verify all these accounts with Virgin prepaid phones and Google Voice, while others insist these two methods dont work. |
progetter92 | 01-01-2015 03:31 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" I get it sometimes still I just either wait a day or two an try again or if n a rush just call |

There was an update few days ago and it all started. took me several hours to fix the problem I was having. It would just not let me connect anymore. |

T-mobile has a small range of IPs.

:spy: | I actually get my best range on T-Mobile. Hardly any repeats in couple years 3 times a day....
Yet my others like ATT are horrible repeat all the time. Might be a location and what towers they have or lease. |

Breakthecycle2 | 01-08-2015 03:58 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" I have no idea if this is true, but I finally was able to pry some information from a paypal agent. He said when you get this error and when you get the error "this phone number doesn't appear to be registered to you". He said, a SS# is the best way, but he also said, adding both a bank account, debit card and confirming mobile helps with this error. Also, clearing cache and cookies. No idea if it's true. |
jjohnson777 | 01-12-2015 05:19 PM | Re: Every account now says "we don't recognize this device" Well I been having this problem so I bought new laptop last week opening new bank accounts and buying accounts from few trusted sellers on this forum. Thankfully I can live on my non-PayPal money but I would prefer not too. Probably should of done this few months ago when problems started. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:46 AM. | |
