MC999 on unbranded item
 

So, I have listed few 3rd party charger cable to build my stealth account. And end up with MC999 from Apple.
How come they remove a unbranded item.
I sent them an email but no reply yet.

Need to do a lot of reading on the forum.

Even if its unbranded, if it is for their product Apple will MC999 it.

Need to avoid anything that has anything to do with any brands for the first few months :thumb:

Especially Apple, Microsoft, etc., you could hardly have chosen anything worse to list, there are so many easier things to list to build your stealth account, this forum is full of how to build stealth accounts, time to get reading and learning and staying well away from anything to do with mobile phones and tech equipment

APPLE have the rights to the 'charger'.

Even unbranded means Apple will fight against the listing.


Try to check much better for future listings.

Chargers, phone cables are often not good to list & sell.

That the attitude to have tida, keep that on your learning curve upwards and onwards to getting back onto ebay and great success!

Yea, I thought to get some feedback too as I was selling for 0 profit.

I can be wrong be to honest new accounts do hit with infringement copyrights complaints. But once you achieve top rated status then these complaints suddenly stop. I experienced it twice.

I'd just stay away from these in general.

On my first stealth account I sold Microsoft Office 2007 Home Edition after about 3 months of activity.

8 months later I got a limitation by Paypal saying I was selling "counterfiet items". I could not appeal, I was permanently limited. It specifically listed Microsoft Office 2007 as a "counterfeit item" nothing else. I even had the reciept from Bestbuy to prove its authenticity.

This was 8 months later...

Some brands you CAN'T sell on eBay AND paypal.

Not saying you will get a limitation down the road, but its simply not worth it from my perspective to sell these branded items.
