eBay or Amazon? What's your preference?
 

I was on eBay selling for about ~5 years before I was kicked. I tried out Amazon and just couldn't figure it out. I didn't like the format. This was 1-2 years ago.

I now have a few eBay stealth accounts running and I love it. But, I was wondering if you guys suggest I give Amazon another chance? Are the sales about the same?

My family member orders LOTS of items through Amazon and they all seem to be from Amazon itself, not sellers. Let me know your thoughts. I'm deciding if I should buy the Amazon Ghost book

I was an Amazon hater when I started. I'm happy now because I generate more sales on Amazon than eBay. Give it a try and wait 2 - 3 months.

Pros and cons of both.
I dont like amazon but my situation is unique to begin with.

Yankee.. explain how your situation is unique?

I've herd its even harder to compete with Chinese sellers than it is on eBay on certain products.

I compete with amazon.

I also own most of my products manufacturing although not always the brand etc...

Like I said, very unique.

Prices are better for sellers on Amazon, unless your market is tech and phones you don't really come across Chinese competition, I was just looking on there to try to list something but the thing always is that new additions need to already be listed on there so that you can kind of piggyback a listing through them, but my item was out of stock and it didn't give me the option to sell one of mine like it does when there are active listings, oops it's started snowing and hailing outside again today and the sky has gone that ominous creamy yellow colour that it always does when more snow on the way! Anyway, I think selling on both platforms is about right for me these days!
