JamesNorth101 | 01-27-2015 08:44 PM | Re: cookies Bid and browse on the eBay account. Then make sure you do not delete the cookies :thumb: |
slokor | 01-27-2015 09:07 PM | Re: cookies Open Windows user account for use with that ebay/PP account only.
Start showing activity on both. On ebay especially.
Activity can include - bidding, asking questions, browsing, adding items to watchlist, bidding (I bid on items I know I cannot possibly won - do a search for high value items by 'newest items listed'), adding sellers to your list, and anything else that comes to mind. |
Re: cookies I browse and bid for 2-4 weeks before starting sales - just my experience |

That's the very point I am making j dub, do not wipe the cookies from your device, eBay/PayPal needs to know that the cookies are there to recognise you and the device you are using. |

Ram etc? | As tannedweekend pointed out eBay/PayPal can definately not see the details of your computer from the cookies that they leave on it, that is not the point of cookies being left on our devices, the point is that they let the platforms recognise us and that we are using the same devices to access their sites, but that is all they can recognise, certainly at this point in the 21st century anyway!! |

SO when people say Paypal needs cookies as well, what does that mean? | it means you need to operate your paypal in such a way that you are ID'd by them when you sign in.
You need a user account, cookies for each paypal.
Do you have that now?

:ranger: | Yeah I do. I just wasn't sure if an overall browsing history was also needed because I've never really done that before. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:19 PM. | |
