USPS Drop-off Form?
USPS has been horrid lately. If I use the in-house drop-box for my prepaid parcels they almost never get scanned until they are at their final destination. This has been happening an awful lot lately and buyers are barking up my tree whenever possible because their tracking hasn't updated in the 6 days since they purchased the item and they want to know where it is (I use 1st Class so it takes 7-12 business days for delivery).
My solution has been to wait on line every day and drop off the packages with a Retail Window acceptance scan. The process can take a long time because I sometimes drop off 30-40 parcels a day.
Yesterday a USPS worker told me there was a form I could print out and bring in where all she'd need to do is scan one bar-code and it would electronically accept all the items on the manifest, regardless of how many there were.
I THOUGHT she said it was called Form 5036, so I came home and Googled USPS Form 5036 and there is no such thing.
Does anyone know of such a thing?
