Hi there,

I'm considering getting pro help to get an account which was vero'd 9 months ago reinstated.

The main reason for this is that there are multiple accounts (not all mine due to apartment complex sharing internet IP for all users with separate access points) which have been suspended for being linked to this account.

Is there anyone that has experiences of similar ilk and able to give me information on the likelihood that if the offending account is reinstated, all the accounts linked to it will be too as they are no longer 'linked to a suspended account' which is the reason for their own suspension?

Dude, that's the second instance you've posted something which is unhelpful in reply to one of my posts.

I don't live there anymore, that was just the situation at the time.

I think if you've got nothing helpful to say, it's better just to say nothing at all.

He asked why I don't have my own internet and I said the situation has changed.

The question of this thread is

If you get a suspended account reinstated, do all linked accounts become reinstated as they are no longer linked to a suspended account?

I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, I was just after an answer to that question from anyone who has experience.

Damn, it sounded like that to me. Your post was NOT clearly worded in the first instance. Yet again another naffing post with not enough information. HTH can you expect an answer? Your opening question is confusing: an account vero'd nine months agoWhat does that mean you listed VeRo items and were
suspended OR the account was suspended because of the living situation as further described. Confusing.
So 7 posts after the question, let's try for an answer.
It is not likely in my experiences with ebay that such accounts will be 'automatically' reinstated. I am NOT aware that ebay plays the reverse dominoes game. ebay would look to each account holder applying which would need to go thro' T&S. Frankly ebay do not care to do that too often.
AND like HWGA asked, put your location under the CP. Each country is different so what happens in the USA may not be the practice in another country

I've made 50 posts now and only half of them have been questions, the rest were all trying to be helpful with the information I learned. I was just a bit frustrated with that comment cause it was the 2nd time a comment that didn't help at all was posted in reply to my question.

This is the first time I've run into an argument and I'm not planning on more so I'll try to be super polite from now on.

The account was vero'd 9 months ago and suspended. 9 months later a lot of other accounts, not all belonging to me, were suspended over a period of 2 or 3 days from linking.

My main question was that I was considering getting help to get the vero'd account reinstated in the hope of having all the rest thereby NOT linked to a suspended account.

I guess the answer is that there is no point. I would probably never use that account again. The only reason I was looking to get it reinstated was to get all the linked accounts reinstated.

I guess that is a bit confusing... but you have pretty much given me the answer I was after (albeit not what I was hoping for)

Lol... this thread made me laugh... you guys are funny.

Greenbean is right on this one. It's not an automatic thing from eBay, but they usually do require the offending account to figure out it's issues before any linked accounts even have a chance of reinstatement.

HWGA is 1000% correct. Far too difficult to give help if the user location is not known.
Gets boring to have to ask x4 to have this supplied.
