Shipping / Postage Programs and Syncing them with eBay Accounts Thoughts?

I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on utilizing shipping / postage programs and syncing them with your eBay / Amazon accounts. Do you guys believe that it will link and cause a problem such as getting banned or suspension or is it safe I want to hear the communities thoughts.
