question re. ramping up new stealth account with vintage

So I'm going to buy some stealth accounts in the marketplace here, but had a question for anyone with relevant experience.

I plan to sell mostly vintage items on these accounts and wondered if there was any guideline as to how fast to list items to get to the limits of the accounts when dealing with used/vintage merchandise. There might be a used designer item from an estate sale here or there in the mix, but mostly it's general estate sale / flea market stuff. If I buy an account with a 1,000 item limit, can I list 1,000 items the first month, or do I need to exercise more caution and spread it out further? I've heard my product mix is much safer than say, dealing with designer purses, but not sure if I still needed to go really slow like if I was selling ipads or something.

Thanks!

If you are going to buy an account with 1k limit, then you will pay for it... Quite a lot.
Take it easy, don't go in all Gung Ho- It's not a 5/500 account!

Let it sit for 30 days or so, age it with browsing. List couple of thing, then few more. Maybe then list 10 item. Bump that up to 50 and then slowly you can ramp it up to higher limits.

That's what I'd do.

EDIT: Actually I'd rather buy 4x 250 limit accounts and spread the risk.

Exactly don't go in listing 1,000 items in your first month, take it much much slower. Browsing like a new eBay seller would do for the first week or so, then list a few items, see what happens with them, then list few more, then up the amount if listings, don't be in a rush. You are trying to appear to be that new seller who doesn't know what to do for the first month.

Re: question re. ramping up new stealth account with vintage

I understand what you're both saying since it's basic stealth 101. However, since these are seasoned stealth accounts with a listing history, I didn't know if the rules were different from a brand new stealth account. I guess I'll just play it safe and slowly ramp anyway. Thanks for the input!
