New account Suspended
 

Opened a new eBay/PP and got 0/0 limit. Thought of it being NBD and I'll call in. They wanted me to attach a verified paypal (My pp was 60% without bank or phone confirm... I was going to do that today as I just bought a tracfone and VBA from a user on the forum).

I logged in today (I haven't since I called in) and when I clicked log in.. the screen reloaded and told me to login again but it had my info already in the boxes so I just clicked sign in again. 100% certain I'm on a clean IP.

I get this message:


After reviewing your eBay account, recent activity has raised serious security concerns. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely.

My paypal has NO limits though. My ebay is a non registered user now. What happened here?!?!?

I got a account new before and the day or so it said to call, but read it late, got suspended, i call they said to have PayPal verified before I list, I told I will and they unsuspended the account, make sure you always PayPal verified, card, charging 1.95, and bank confirmed,

New thing there doing like last year, at least for me, but only happen to me once.

@jako, did you try to list anything? or just suspended right away.

@johncarter - I like verifying PP before working with it on eb as well

Went to list something and had an error when I finished my listing and said I had 0/0.

So far I haven't had a problem attaching PP that is 80% (mobile, CC, and email, and I'm forgetting the last one but its not bank).

I called.. because why not.. and he would NOT tell me the reason why even after asking multiple times. He put me on hold for 5 minutes and came back with telling me he appealed the decision and it'll take 48-72 hours and I asked him once more and ignored me again. No idea what I did wrong! I've done the same method 6 times now. Not many times compared to some users for 6/6 isn't bad.

Have you listed anything in your account? Or just logged into a fresh account and got suspended?

I attempted to. The limits weren't shown until I clicked sell and finished my item and where it says list your item.. I clicked it and then said my account had 0/0 then a day or two later (after not even signing into it) it says I am suspended indefinitely!

what did you use for phone number?

Ah, this could be it but many users have used it before. Textfree phone number. Was NOT confirmed.

Yeah thats well known to cause issues, recommend using tracfone

Yea, but people have used it with no issues.

Definitely not anymore for me. Bought 5 tracfones yesterday for $4.99 (Target had a sale :pop2: )

Yeah it works for some people but for alot of people it gives problems so best to avoid it

Thanks for the small help. If the appeal goes thru I'll attach a tracfone and VBA and go very very very slowly.
