Have i got it right?
 

Hi everyone

I've lurked for some time, and done a lot of reading. I even created an stealth account (a year or 2 ago) after my suspension, but i stopped using it because i became worried it would get shut down as i wasnt 100% i had followed the steps correctly.

I am in need of starting up again, due to loosing my job etc.. I just wanted some help as i go through the steps

fwiw, im in the UK...

1.I have applied for a new bank account, should be ready within a week

2.I use a VBA linked with my new bank account (correct, or not necessary for UK? I have heard different things)

3.Create new user on comp, clear all cookies, cache, new email etc. (do i need to change my MAC address? or 'spoof' it? )

4. Ready to start selling low volume?

5.when ebay/PP eventually asks for ID scans, how do i proceed?


I have moved address since my last ebay account, so im sure thats a benefit, but im still a little concerned i have missed something

No replies? I dont mean to bump a dead thread which has been ignored first time, but im reall eager to gets some answers

VBA's do not work with UK banks, anything you have read telling you different to that is completely wrong and you certainly haven't read anything like that on this forum.

Don't need to mess with your MAC address the platforms cannot read it. Create new user account, start logging IP addresses to make sure you don't use the same one twice, leave cookies in place within that user account, ebay/PayPal need to see those cookies to recognise you and device you are using.

New email address is good, disable images in it. Browse for a couple of weeks,you are trying to give the impression you are a new seller, so no point behaving like you have been selling on their for ages and already know everything there is to know.

When you approach the £1900 sales point they will ask for ID docs, you will need to get creative, plenty of info around about that. The alternative is to visit the marketplace on this forum and look at accounts there and how they come with ready made ID docs so no worries about that.
