Anyone use TNT as a shipping method?

Testing a new supplier. Bought about $50 worth of stuff and he 'sent' it TNT post. Payment was made 9 days ago and he had a 2 day handling time. He gave me a tracking number on the second day... He told me it'd take 2-3 weeks once TNT has it in their hands. Although, the tracking number was 'changed' from the original one within hours of him giving me the first tracking number. Neither of them have a tracking history on their website.

Don't know if I'm being scammed or if TNT is just really freaking slow. He claims that the information updates very delayed and slowly, but that doesn't make too much sense. Any thoughts? Have any of you guys used TNT?

"TNT post, not TNT. TNT is express, TNT post is slow" - supplier

Weird service in the states. Random car makes final delivery.

All these services get outsourced in the USA. Hell, even FedEx has random people on contracts.

Am.azon is using some random new service too. Not even regular UPS or FedEx anymore. I forgot the name.

All these new couriers are fly-by-night services and hire nothing but sketchy looking people.

10th day is tonight with no tracking updated so I'm just going to file claim just in case. I'll obviously cancel if the product arrives. Just want to be safe and protect myself

Lol, I have heard and seen TNT trucks on the road. He probably sent it the most economical way which means it will hitch a ride along with something else coming your direction. However, AUS seems a lil far from being on your way.
