| techdawg | 04-22-2015 11:18 AM | Getting 5/500 or 10/1000 Every Time Hey guys,
So I have been making many accounts lately with various different methods, however every time they always get 5/500 or 10/1000 limits. Previously in years past sometimes I have accounts that go directly to 50/10,000 and other higher-limit accounts, although I understand there is probably no rhyme or reason to this.
Recently I feel like it has been not only harder to get limit increases, but a decent starting limit as well.
So my actual question is, is this something unique to me? Has anybody shared my experience?
I have tried many ways to create these accounts so I know it's probably not a variable in account creation.
Looking forward to hear your responses :d |

Re: Getting 5/500 or 10/1000 Every Time Yeah 5/500 is the norm nowadays, I find that there pretty easy to get limits increased on them anyways, just sell to the max and within a month it'll usually go up most the times |

I have had several accounts lately that don't get increased after 50 for several months of to-limit selling |

GhostOfAmazon | 04-22-2015 02:38 PM | Re: Getting 5/500 or 10/1000 Every Time You can call to request limit increases. If they ask address verification, just hang up and call back again. |

Its always a risk to call into eBay, so selling to the limits is generally the way to go. Eventually you will get limit increase without any attention being brought to your account :thumb: |

My method is keeping the cost per account low, and raising limits ASAP. Everyone is different, and that's ok. |
JamesNorth101 | 04-22-2015 02:47 PM | Re: Getting 5/500 or 10/1000 Every Time I generally find quality better than quantity personally. All to our own, but its important to make forum members aware of the risk when ringing in |

incniu | 04-23-2015 07:25 PM | Re: Getting 5/500 or 10/1000 Every Time used to be before like.. 80% of time for 0/0
these weeks, all with 5/500; also no need to call in.. always sell in the first hour. Quote:

When you call and they do address verification, they will come up with no info. They will ask how long you've been at the address...I say x amount of time, then they ask your previous address (have one ready before you call!), give it to them, then they say, "We couldn't verify your info, please check the public records at xyz" you say ok, THEN hang up, and call back.
It was just easier to say "hang up and call back" than type all that out. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:02 AM. | |
