do i HAVE to update phone number/address?
 

hi all,

i just saw a thread on this but i cant find it again so ill have to ask sorry...

it just occurred to me that i havnt yet updated a phone number of ebay. its till the stealth created on....i also havent updated the address as i dont buy much and if i do i usually ask the seller to send to my real addy.

Do i need to update the number??? if i do then ill have to do the address wont i as it will show the area code im in etc?? shame to waste an address and number incase i need again in future

Use a PAYG mobile phone with SIM.

Alternatively use Soho66 for a landline number.

It is always advisable to have a working phone number on both ebay and paypal.

Soho66 has all the UK area codes, so you pick the one that matches the area

SOHO66 is a FORWARDING SERVICE.

You buy the landline number area specific to the address on eBay / PP.

You then forward to your own mobile.

Ebay is a devil for calling out of the blue. paypal accounts certainly need working phone numbers.

Take active phones, and accessible addresses as part of the cost of doing good business.

Get a pay as you go simcard and insert it into your phone should they ask to call you back on the number.
