Paypal documents

Paypal wants me to:

Confirm your bank account
Photo ID
Proof of Address
Provide Invoices
Supplier Contact Info
Resolve Complaints
Provide proof of delivery
Confirm Identity

I simply up scaled the account dangerously and not like I should have and I know my mistakes.

I have no outstanding complaints on the account and I'm refunding the few sales I made that I wasn't able to ship out between last time I got on and my suspension.

Does Paypal want EVERY single thing or do you think invoices and maybe photo ID would work with a VBA?

If everything on that list needs to be done I assume this account is dead because I cannot confirm identity. Its a 90+ day account and I'd like to do what I can to try to save it.

Re: Paypal documents

That is going to be a tough one to be honest.

What sort of items have been sold?

Where is this account registered? (US I assume?)

Have you posted items with tracked delivery?

Thanks

James

Re: Paypal documents

All items have tracking numbers.

Past week I've been slacking and got a good amount of items shipped 2-3 days after payment. Had lots of things come up. I advertise 1 day handling. No complaints though.

This account sells older video game/ video game accessories 5-15 years old priced around $15-25 a sale

USA registered

I can still receive funds but cannot send or withdrawal them.

paypal will almost always take more money from you. I would recommend NOT accepting more funds into this account.

This is the account you added an EIN to?
If not, if it was me, I would move onto the next account.

No EIN. Has $230 in Paypal

I agree with Yankee.
Looks like youre better off just cutting your losses and putting your energy into building up the next account.
Thank goodness for stealth right?

All these can be done but at the end of the day PayPal can still shut you down.

Re: Paypal documents

One thing to investigate is WHY paypal asked for this all of a sudden. I would be willing to guess the category of items and/or a fairly constant value being received and then a spike or drop is price.
Slow tracking upload can do it as well it seems.

I upscaled this account way too fast the past two weeks, and I'm suffering for it. Went against one of the biggest rules of stealth! Build slowly...

Re: Paypal documents

If you are selling a mix of priced goods, for example, $10.00 items and $100.00 items etc... If you start with the $100.00 items and mix in the rest after a few sales, tracking uploaded and then delivery you have a lot less issues than starting cheap and going higher.

You are selling a higher risk category in PayPal eyes to begin with.

Re: Paypal documents

I'll definitely take that into consideration about mixing sale prices.

Yup. I'll try my best with recovering this account and will keep this updated if I do.

Thank god for having aging backups

If you have a shop put it on vacation so you get no more sales until (if you can) you solve the limited problem. Or end all listings. No point giving Paypal more money as they could hold it for six months.
