| | | koobar | 05-26-2015 09:46 PM | Documents for resolving limitation Paypal sent me email asking the following documents http://i1.tietuku.com/883e0cb547b80cee.jpg
I sent Proof Of Name, Proof Of Address, Invoices, Proof of shipping, but only 2 of them marked as "complete" after I uploading the files. I tried many times by clicking on the resolve button and uopload the files again, but it didn't work in anyway. What's going wrong? And I don't have business license, do I have to have business license to pass this limitation? |
| jeffweico | 05-26-2015 09:51 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation Did you sell anything before this happened?
As far as I know you don't NEED a business license, but I am in the USA, so it MAY BE DIFFERENT IN CANADA! Hopefully, someone from Canada will chime in. |
| Breakthecycle2 | 05-26-2015 09:52 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation Completed doesn't mean the limitation will be removed. When you upload some documents that need review, it will not show completed. |
| jeffweico | 05-26-2015 10:11 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation The documents could have been received, but not reviewed yet. Sometimes it can take a long time. If you have confidence in your documents, you could always call PayPal and ask them. Normally, our advice is not to call, but in this case, I don't see the harm. |
| Bunneh | 05-26-2015 10:13 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation When adding proof of invoices and address it doesn't mark as complete like the others do.
You have to wait for someone at paypal to manually review your documents supplied.
They will email you if you pass the review, fail or need more information.
If they need more info it does not get added to the limitation listed all the time so you need to keep checking your emails. |
| hodgesdavid684 | 05-26-2015 11:38 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation is there any $ in it? If no, then save your time budd. Create another account for your own good. |
| koobar | 05-26-2015 11:58 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation I have $2000 in this account. If I have to send business license, I think I need to PS one, because I don't actually have business license. |
Re: Documents for resolving limitation Sadly - and just keeping it real - when you get this kind of long list of demands....even if you submit what they want....chances are strong that you wont be reinstated koobar....just fyi |
| miketyson | 05-27-2015 07:55 AM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation You have to fax only. Since you uploaded now fax and paypal will review. I had uploaded then called they said to fax after faxing I got a email that said they received the fax. FYI lots of free fax websites says paypal block their number. |
| koobar | 05-27-2015 10:57 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation Today I just called paypal. They told me don't worry about business license as they just want to check if you ship the items on time and there will be no complain from the customers and they probably gonna remove my limitation after a short period. |
| solefoodbk | 05-27-2015 11:24 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation OP just remember what a rep tells you may not always decide the outcome. You triggered a bot to review your account (most likely) good or bad something triggered a review.
What a rep says in these instances is NEVER 100% full proof unless they literally remove the limitation while your on the phone. Even then it can come back within minutes, days, weeks...and so on.
If you get it removed tred carefully or you may face permanent. remember it's most likely a bot that you triggered and once they throw the indefinite ban your screwed either way.
Good luck! |
Re: Documents for resolving limitation 99% of time PayPal always permanately limits the accounts, even if you upload all documents, the reason "high risk" blya blya blya, I know, because all my PayPal accounts are limited forever ever, with all docs uploaded, so there is no chance to get back. |

There is a conspiracy theory that eBay/PayPal only asks for this many docs so that they can send collection agencies after you if you owe fees. I don't believe that, but I do think requests for this much documentation is basically a final "screw you". |
| koobar | 05-28-2015 07:22 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation Thank you guys. I almost had spent another $100 to buy a business license copy. |

Just wait out the 180 days (mark it on your calendar) and call in and demand your funds be released that day.
And next time, don't leave 2 grand lying around in PayPal. I never leave more than 100 bucks in at a time. |
| Gotham.Maximus | 05-29-2015 01:05 AM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation try and call! Tried to fax documents and went through 3 fedex kinkos and fax number wasn't working, also sent an email and still nothing. finally called and was resolved in minutes! perhaps they will wave off the business license requirement if they hear from you. just try, nothing to lose. |
| solefoodbk | 06-07-2015 01:08 PM | Re: Documents for resolving limitation I don't see why people leave so much in their paypal accounts either.
When I sell something I WANT MY MONEY, not have it sitting in a paypal account. But thats just me. :) | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:12 PM. | |
