Cleaning Images

Sorry about making another thread but I wanted to clarify something, if I may.

I've seen a few people mention how you need to clean out image information from product pics, recommending some programs to do it.

I was wondering if the Windows 7's and 8's "Remove Properties and Personal Information" function does this. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can right click on an image, go to the Details tab, click on "Remove Propertied and Personal Information" and "Create a Copy with All Possible Properties Removed" (can be done in bulk, by selecting several images).

Does this remove all the relevant info and clean the pics properly? Anyone?

Yes it works pretty well bit does not always remove as much info as a program like batchpurifier.

So, not sure if it removes enough info?

Come to think of it, I hope ebay doesn't get suspicious when they see images with no info.

Me and Jamesnorth101 answer your question and give you some options I know you're looking for the definitive answer whether what you're doing is good enough

Again, my best suggestion to you is not to even try to take a chance regardless if you had 10 people telling us it was ok! There is no need to take a risk!

My suggestions to you are above good luck.
