User Accounts VS Portable Browsers

User Accounts VS Portable Browsers

Curious to hear what the differences are, aside from the obvious.

Any tips/tricks worth sharing?

Any Do's and Dont's?

Re: User Accounts VS Portable Browsers

there are some positives and negs

Ive used portables for a while… and I've made mistakes.

Firefox should be the ONLY one you mess with, with flash cookies being the biggest concern. Without proper attention, they will surely result in the demise of your accounts.

I personally like to have adobe flash activated, and manage the LSO cookies with a little add-on called BetterPrivacy. its an extension with many many options for flash cookie deletion- I always check "delete upon application opening" and "delete upon application closing" just to be extra safe.

If you copy the browsers from one computer to another, recheck all settings. Failing to pay attention to that got me once before.

Separate user accounts is generally easier and safer

FFP is more convenient but you have got to watch out for FLASH COOKIES!

There are also things like WMware that combine the benefits of both

Setup the original .exe on FFP correctly, making sure flash cookies and tracking cookies are disabled.

Copy and paste the .exe into each new folder.

Tread carefully before going full steam ahead with it.

Started to touch on vmware. Question, do you need to install operated system each time thus using up 10gb of space for each account?

I use fraudfox. It saves all the profiles so I can pull it up on the vm. So one vm I can save like infinite amount of profiles with their own set of cookies

Re: User Accounts VS Portable Browsers

lol idk why people think I'm joking. Don't judge the browser cause of its name. Let's just be real. Fraud is a broad term. It doesn't just meaning carding stuff or using people's id. It's all perspective. I know people who order stuff on Amazon and refund them or "double dip" it. They don't consider themselves fraudsters but technically it's fraud. Now I'm not calling us fraudsters but we do register under a made up name.. And we do present ourselves as a different "persona" when we register compared to what we are. So someone could categorize it as fraud.. I mean eBay and pp considers us as fraudulent. So maybe fraud fox was made for less then honest people. But let's not claim to be 100% honest either. Just use it as a TOOL to stealth. But hey if you want to be on your high horse then by all means use another method. But don't dog on something you know nothing about please
