eBay millionaire in papers today

£15m Ken Emechebe is supposed to be at the top of ebay's first 'rich list' and that's supposed to be his annual turnover selling gadgets and electronics. His firm is called Universalgadgets01 and there is a lot of stuff about it on google of course. He started in 2007 apparently.

He is at the top of a list of 30 firms whose eBay sales bring them in around £4m, alright for some!

He will get banned at some point, no one is invincible.

Yes you are probably right Callidus, there are plenty of complaints about that name Universalgadgets01 and people not receiving their items and him not responding to them, mind you with 1 million feedback I guess he could well be passed the point of anyone who really matters noticing!

With such capital, I am sure he has several backup accounts, and can handle any issues that may arise with his account. A friend of mine, also has a huge account with a million turnover. He is more than alive.

Actually these are the people they like.

It's either the big or small sellers like they, nowhere in between.

Someone like that who was in the news and is such high profile is pretty much untouchable. Can you imagine the backlash in the media if they were to suspend him? Idf love to see that happen but itll never happen.

Imagine the fees he must pay on that account. Ebay doesn't want him going anywhere

Yup!
I forgot what the name is but if you can guaranty ebay 1 million in revenue you have all sorts of different rules.

Ever look at Target? They have a unique setup on ebay.

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

It would be stupid. I mean thats GOOD publicity for eBay...

And yeah I now understand the whole "big seller" vs "medium size seller" difference. Some big name clothing shops have like 97% feedback which isn't horrible but not good either. I see alot of accounts fall once you enter the 97 and below point. Not the big guys though.

resale certificate (fl guy here, tax license) , get the ball rolling, reputation, credit allowances, length of return on credit, frequency... once all this is scaled out... lol seems so easy huh, anyone can get to this point.

Oh and i would advise getting some working capital to be able to remotely attempt to achieve all of it except the resale certificate of course.

One of my accounts was seriously reviewed once I hit 1 mil in sales.

Got calls directly from accounting office asking MANY questions. Got to have house in order for sure.

Big accounts have a series of different rules and hoops to jump through. DSRs are just the tip of the iceberg. How you handle cases and communicate with crazy buyers may be the two biggest aspects followed by your backup plan and how many employees/ability to ship and handle questions when on vacation etc..

Makes sense. It is all about customer satisfaction.

I'm on my way there- Give it another 5 to 10 years and I'll be in the news, for all the right reasons.
When I make it, I'll give you all a shout out and say something like "505 aspkin till I die"

<--Makes it big using a system founded on principles of anonymity

<--Amazon/Ebay/Paypal have no record of him having accounts
<--They find and boot him, he lives under a bridge, the rest of us all have to deal with 4 million kids starting their cake goods business on our listings
