Similartities between saving and cheking account number
 

I opened a checking account with a bank, and got a saving account with it.
I didn't have it with other banks, but with this one the saving and checking accounts are very similar with only few
additional numbers on the checking account number.
Example:
saving accnt number: 455678
checking accnt number is:10004556780

I am pretty sure it is safe to add these to two different paypal accounts
without being linked, but just wanted to double check.

Pretty standard procedure. A lot of credit unions do this. What is the issue with just having multiple checking accounts at the same bank. I have 5 checking accounts all linked to one another at WellsFargo.

100% safe.
Same as having an IP just one number off. It is still a new IP. and your accounts are still two different never used before accounts.
