Paypal Sweep Dead?
 

I just tried to list on eBay today, and I got an error message:

The paypal address you entered is not a verified premier or business account.

Generally, I can pay ebay fees via credit card and sweep the Paypal payment.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Nevermind, I've just checked one of my backup accounts and I have news to report.

Let's say you pay fees via credit card and you use sweep to get your funds. The Paypal account you sweep into gets automatically linked to your eBay account, even if you sweep into a different one for another payment (both will get linked)!

And if one of them goes down with limitation, you will get this error.

In other words, the account is dead unless you plan on creating another Paypal even though the eBay account may go dead due to the limited Paypal.
