Chase Savings and Checking

I went to Chase to open an account and they offered both a checking and a savings account. I said yes, planning to use them for different stealth accounts. Would that work? The account numbers seem different. Anyone try it?

You can add both checkings/savings under the checking option when adding the details to paypal with no issues with chase

In my opinion Chase and BOA are the nationwide US Banks for running stealth's without any issues for mismatched names or having too many accounts (relative, my definition of too many is different than many others on here).

Chase works fine for stealth. There is no way (except for the bank) to tell from the account number if the account is a checking or savings account. Both will work.

The only issue with savings accounts is that you are limited to a certain number of withdrawals from the account each month or quarter. I'm not talking about withdrawals from PayPal, you can have as many of those as you want. I mean withdrawals FROM your savings account. So if you need constant money to be withdrawn, at some point the bank will ask you to convert it to a checking account. Depending on the bank, that COULD require changing account numbers.

And while I consider Bank of America to also be great for stealth, we HAVE had reports of people with several accounts there (more than 10) having issues with too much money coming in. Bank of America has no issue with mismatched names, but if you get on their radar, they COULD start asking questions.
