why did i get a 1000 limit ?
 

why did i get a 1000 limit ? the account is 3 months old but that does not seem like it would be the reason. i listed a 10$ phone today and it passed and gave me 1k/25k listing limit.

Always operate a new account with caution. A limit of 5 or 1000 is the same new stealth account as far as risk goes.

High limits happen sometimes.

It's so hard, ebay was easyier 2 years ago now they are more strict and people always do such a bad price where you can't Dropship.

To an extent it is always nice to get better limits. But you do need to go full stealth and start off selling low risk items, getting good feedback, DSRs etc. Some stealthers get accounts stuck with like 10 items 1000 dollars for nearly a year with no rhyme or reason.

It is an excellent start, and I agree with the poster above that all new accounts should be treated the same.

Almost all electronics I have seen, even 1990's video game cartridges seem to be treated as high risk.
