eBay account below standard
 

On the last monthly review of my account I was put below standard.

I don't have any more allowance to list any more items for this month and will not be able to get them raised.

How soon does eBay limit/suspend accounts for being below standard once you're notified?

you have a good 2 months from my experience... happened before... not difficult to fix with the right plan ;)

I agree... this is definitely repairable, but you have to ship quick to happy customers. It's easier to fix this account than to start completely over, so sell accordingly, and think of it as an investment in time/$ and sell for a while focusing on your grades and not as focused on profit.

Thanks for the responses. Waiting on the 1st so my limits will reset. I have a good bit of product that I'm going to basically liquidate for good DSR's.

I try to avoid these, but when I have faced this, I always sell something popular and cheap and make sure it ships the same day. I put a handwritten note in each package asking the buyers for their feedback, buy very politely. It works. Of course it is not as profitable as your normal sales, but it works.

Emergency plan that costs some money but works:

1) end all listings
2) put 0.99 iPhone cases with free shipping (the ones that are sold for 1.99, not these cheap 0.99 ones). You will get a burst of sales, and your rating will get back to normal. It will cost you like 100-200 GBP. But the account will be saved.
