Create/Run stealth account on iPad/tablet. Possible?
 

There is a lot of info on the forum on how to create stealth accounts in deskops using VMware or user accounts etc. However, there is very little info about creating stealth accounts on iPads or tablets. Is it because it's not possible?
Is it not possible to create stealth accounts in a previously banned iPad with a banned internet connection? I see that 24vc offers the ip service for tablets but how about all the other things like browser fingerprinting etc?

1st. No one said it wasn't possible.
2nd. It is possible, you need a few apps to make it happen
Switch (To make User Accounts, an App to keep track of your IPs
3rd. Perhaps you need to be more specific, are you wanting to Amazon Stealth or Ebay Stealth?

Wipe your browsing history and cookies, get a mifi device or a simcard(devoted to only one eBay account ofcourse) if your tablet supports 3G and you're set! :d

Its possible but not worth the effort.
Selling on ebay - especially if your doing it the stealth way - is very serious business. For serious business you need serious hardware. A laptop/desktop computer is the best solution for that.

What about using an iPad as a dedicated device to a stealth account? Paying for data and turning off wifi, (Of course you'd need a cellular model to do this with) and using the iPad for ONLY the stealth account? Separate (cellular data) internet connection, built in camera for exif info issues, separate device, and you could then, in theory, use the convenient Eb*y apps too... right...?

Android has multi-user accounts for tablets. Not sure if Apple has copied that yet or not. For the ultimate tablet solution, root, wipe, install Ubuntu. Now you have full-up linux and can do whatever you want no different than a desktop.

Apple has an App called Switch.

That's great for advanced tech users but not for the average user....

I actually use an iPad for listing large quantities of items that I want to show actual photos of each- it's extremely easy (with the Ebay app) to add many pictures to a listing of the actual item with the camera on an iPad. And I think it's completely safe to do as well, the only thing is that I personally limit the device (which I use with the cellular connection) to ONE single st**lth account. I don't know the details or for sure, but from my research there may be device info or SIM card info collected by the Ebay app (and I assume it's similar with Amazon, never used it) that you give permissions beyond what normal browser-activity would collect. So as with anything, with greater convenience comes greater risk, but my way of limiting that risk is to limit the use of that device SOLEY to that one account and it's email.
