Cant link new activated sim on PP
 

The weirdest thing. I can sent SMS just fine, but none of the PP verification codes go through. Its a Lycamobile (tmobile) sim (NOT bought here), fresh activation. Ive read that happens if a number is on another account already, so I guess beware folks. Prob wont kill my account, but im going to have to throw it away and use a different number I think.

Gets worse. Tried one from Lycamobile, one from Simple Mobile, same issue on both. I can receive sms on those sims, but not from PP. This is going to be tough, lol.

You dont have to confirm the number on paypal to have them work 100% perfectly normal.
I dont have any accounts that are phone confirmed.
Ebay is a must. Some sims will only allow a call and not receive sms hence it does not work for paypal.

The sims I got do allow sms, just not from PP for some reason. What Im curious about is if that means they also wont receive sms from ebay. I guess Ill give it a go and let you all know.

Any problems with ebay sms on sims bought from the market here?

MANY sims, phone apps and many tracfones will not get text from paypal. Your paypal will still work fine.

Almost all will receive calls from ebay even if they dont work for sms for ebay.

The reason is, from what I hear is that T-Mobile cannot accep short sms. Short sms is the phone number u receive it, I.e PayPal has a short phone number, a five digit phone number. From what I hear tmobile's system cannot handle 5 digit phone numbers. That's y u cannot receive those verification on PayPal.

theses are MVNO's thats why. With "T-Mobile" you can trust me. Just not MVNOs.

& T-Mobile doesn't even own Simple Mobile anymore. Tracfone " carlos slim " the richest man in the world does.

LOL, FFS just go get a Tracfone or a Verizon Gusto 3....damn.
