$500/mo witdrawal limit
 

Paypal says I have a $500 withdrawal limit (to my bank account). In order to lift it it says I need to:

-confirm bank account (done)
-Confirm and link debt or credit card (I used a prepaid gift card, and did so by selecting "gift card", which was probably dumb)
-Confirm your SSN

My question is, if I convert to a corporate account with EIN, does the SSN requirement go away, since Ive put in a full EIN, or does it ask for the SSN of the contact still? Note this may be a new requirement.

You only need to do two of the three.

Confirm your credit card and VBA or bank and you are good to go as far as lifting the withdrawal limits.

It has always been this way.

OK thanks. I think I screwed up. I used a MC gift card, and when I added it it gave me the choice of entering a debt, gift, or credit card. I picked gift since thats what it is, but its not counting toward this verification. I assume they CAN tell, but Im not sure if they bother. Should I enter it as if its a credit card not a gift card?

also, should I ease into withdrawing to my bank the same way you ease into selling ebay? same 90 day easing period?

Just because you added the card does not mean you confirmed it. Did they charge you a fee? If not, it was not confirmed.

I withdraw funds ASAP but always leave a small balance. Other say they leave a balance equivalent to a few items.
