ebay successful transaction

hi everyone :yar:
i am on verge of being below standard for next evaluation and got an urgent question.

if someone buys an item from me, at what stage of the sale does the item count as "transaction" and effects the defect rate percentage.

when he press the "buy it now" button?
when he pays?
when i upload tracking?
