Im confused on merchant accounts
 

Hey guys long time no talk! I signed up for the merchantaccount plus with the authorize.net in it. I read that you can use auctiva to integrate it. But you would have to get ebay to approve it first correct? Is there a way around that without having it approved besides the pre 11/07 account I head modee had a modee checkout system? Also I been using paypal for quite some time now and getting very tired of it, but how does auction checkout work exactly does it make it better for paypal? Thanks ahead of time!

It takes some work yes, but ebay does approve accounts for the use or a merchant account.

Though maybe you should try Google Checkout + Cart Manager combo. Most people don't have a problem paying this way, going with MerchantPlus may be difficult.

Talk to Modee about setting up a Cart Manager account.

the only differece from paypal is you have abit of harder time instead of the buyer sending you payment straight away
you have to send them a invoice from your account you are using
and probably send them a message to tell them you have sent them an invoice
