VM Ware Question
 

As I go on the VMWare downloads page I see an abundance of download options (https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/downloads). I was wondering which one we wanted for our purposes.

I was wondering the same thing. I am currently downloading the VMware workstation to install my first few virtual machines.

Depends on what kind of computer you have, to keep it simple you can use VMworkstation for windows and VMfusion for Mac and make sure you have an OS to install on it.

I used VMFusion on my Mac, but I have yet to have it run smoothly. Despite how much RAM I dedicate it just drags on and on, support is pretty good and can sometimes remote in to work on speeding it up. Let me know what your experience is like with it.

Vmware Player or Workstation is what you're looking for. If you're using Mac, you want to use Vmware Fusion

I just start using VMFusion on my mac, set up the first virtue machine with win xp, changed the MAC address, use a new clean virgin IP address.

Do you think I can just clone this first one to another new Virtue machine and change the MAC, use another new clean virgin IP address?

I have 4 accounts.
