Can't confirm mobile phone
 

Just created a new account with a dedicated VPN IP address. Paypal won't send the verification code to confirm the mobile (it's a new tracfone).
Address is physical matched to account name.
Will this be an issue in the future when I try to withdraw money from the account? Should I add another mobile number and confirm it, then remove the initial one?

EDIT: I've used 5 tracfones in the last week and they all received the verification code with no issue.

have you tried the calling method over the text or vice versa?

What is the calling method? I only get the option to send a text.

I got my second tracfone unable to confirm today (used 8 successfully) I thought this was the proven way to use? Is there a way to have paypal confirm the number via a phone call instead?

had that happen with an alcatel from tracfone... have a LG tracfone and it always gets the text no problem...i think it might come down to phone make and model?

To confirm can we choose paypal calling us vs text?

Most phones wont work for confirming the number on paypal / some tracfones work others dont believe you can tell which work by the color of the battery but not sure its something like that, but to be honest its pointless anyways it doesn't really get you anything besides it showing the percentage points as more completed its superficial

What matters is you keep the number active incase they ever want to verify your number when request a withdraw etc, if you have the original number then it would work for that purpose so your fine dont worry about it. I never confirm the number on paypal.

well my question is when they do verify do paypal calls and the automated system says here is confirm number or do they send a text

Yea I use a phone service that is still working on getting regular texts, so I never confim phone either unless the random call option appears.
