Merchant Account Statements Faxed To eBay
 

Is it just me or is eBay getting stricter with merchant accounts? I have a stealth info on legit looking merchant account statements and Wally, Trevin or Tatsu all give me a hard time to accept my documents. They ask me for more statements and more and more they say that they cannot confirm my merchant account so please use paypal. What is going on these days? It used to be so easy for me. I even switch up statements with different companies and layouts...any ideas?:confused:

That approvals department is getting worried about the numbers trying to use merchant
accounts & thus stop paypal making money. I imagine there has been some directive to 'hinder' applications. Be interesting to know statistics on the number of requests submitted over the past 6 months,tbh.

Another user was having problems as well getting accepted.

And they were using a legit merchant account invoice.

There are many companys that have "Sample" Merchant invoices.

So, it looks like merchant accounts aren't the way to go then either huh? You told me it was better than Paypal and people aren't getting approved.
