CONFIRM YOUR EBAY ACCOUNT when signing in
 

Ok so I am having a bit of a problem. I am running low on some accounts so I went into my older ones that have been sitting, probably over a few months, there are some that were just accessed about 1 week ago as well so keep that in mind.
When I go to sign in to my ebay account it asks me to confirm my account by text or phone call which normally would be fine. But they are accounts that I do not have access to the phone number any more (a few I have current phones but cant find them!)

I have looked, and as far as I can tell, there is no way to get into the account without doing a confirmation phone call or text. How on earth can ebay do this? What if the person has to update their contact information which includes the number?

The only way is to call in to ebay?

Is there another way? Anyone know? Or are these accounts now useless because of the number?

I have llike 20 of these and I just dont want to believe they are gone. there has to be a way to fix my foolish mistake (keeping the numbers up to date and phones where I can find them)

hopefully the message will disappear in 72 hours, as it has done for a few people i know of.

I wouldn't continue to try... I'd let it sit for a full 72 hours first.

I know the screen you're talking about. It's kind've new and a little weird. All you do is hit CONFIRM and they just redirect you to a "Thank you for confirming your info" page.

Not exactly.
What happens is I go to log in to my ebay, and fill in user name and password and I am IMMEDIATELY taken to confirm your phone number, continue. Then phone call or text.

Problem is, like I said, some phone numbers are no longer valid and I do not have access to them. And it wont let me edit my personal information to add a different number because you need to be logged in first!

Nope. And not many people have experience with this one so im nervous lol
