Tips when having to restart an account

So I was obviously dominating on this specific niche on eBay.. and my account got indefinitely suspended yesterday. I have another account that was going to replace this one in this niche. I planned this and sold a few items from this niche on the replacement account in the past 4 months so it can build up a small history, as a seller for eBay's trust and as a seller in this niche.

Hopefully you're still up to speed with me.. haha

I've put up a few listings and want some tips on how to again, dominate the market.

Should I start the new listings at a lower price until this account has the majority of the sales then slowly start to rise the price to, give or take, around what I was selling on the other account? Maybe include a bonus something for a while? Search position is definitely key in this niche.. every one of my listings on my now suspended account was first page/first item. I want it back! :(

yes that is what I would do, get the sales with slightly lower prices...

Cassini seems to give a better ranking to those who have a solid history of selling the same item.

Setting prices low and building a good sales history (on a good till cancelled listing) is the best way I have found to gain a market share.

Once you are near the top you can increase the price.

All the other ways ebay suggest. Such as offering free shipping, faster shipping, promotions etc don't seem to make much of a difference.

Just my 2 cents.

Are you running auctions?

Note that selling a specific item at a lower price does attract unnecessary attention as well from ebay these days. The bots look for anomalies and anything seriously out of the ordinary will trigger them and a restriction. This is especially true if youre doing it as a 'BIN' auction (less of an issue if its a regular auction).
