Ebay selling limits 0/0 until I attach bank.
 

Ebay selling limits 0/0 until I attach bank to my paypal account.

The paypal account is a stealth account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name so I don't have any bank accounts in that name... Is there anyway I can bypass this?

You can just add your own bank account without a problem

Banks don't share your real details with PayPal

Both ebay and paypal accounts are UK. Would it be possible to add a non UK bank without problem?

I don't have one of those. Should I try opening a new Ebay account? I would like to know why the 0/0 limits were placed on my account in the first place. Anyone know why this might be and how to prevent it.

I was using a clean IP and a new user account on my pc.

Adding a bank account prevents it

You should be able to easily open a UK bank account since your in the UK

Only non UK bank is a US one.

But your flag says you are in the UK.

I will get shot down for saying it but I am really struggling to see how members are NOT getting at minimum 10/650 without adding a PayPal, let alone bank verifying it....

Yes you will need a UK bank if that is what they are saying. Then click request higher limits, it will say we cannot increase your limits, give it 10 minutes then you should get 10/650 or maybe more if you're lucky.

Personally I go on chat / call in to get the limits raised if it doesn't automatically after requesting those higher limits.

With that though, as you know, sometimes get unlucky and get hit with an ID request, the chance is always there.

All down to creation of the account and in which order steps are taken in my opinion.

Always best to have a bank account attached, but if you are lucky they will increase your selling limits without
