an idea to get around selling limits?
 

So I have a $3000 a month selling limit. Lets say I sell 2 items at $1400 BIN, and then do a third one as an auction at 99c, I assume the sale will still go through even if the sale price goes beyond my selling limit? Could i do this every month or would this cause scrutiny from ebay?

Ebay is no problem. Paypal on the other hand is a whole different beast with fresh transactions like that.

can you elaborate? My paypal account is 3 years old and I have had many payments from the account, although not a ton of incoming transactions. If they ask me to provide documentation I can do so, but i don't want to have my account locked out for long periods of time.

you may not have any problems based on what you just said.

I don't have any problems at all on ID verified accounts and I can always supply unprecedented amount of receipts if needed.

Hope the items aren't risky as of themselves either e.g. f*ke stuff or counterfeit or trademarked OP

well I hope everything goes well. The items are not risky at all, and if paypal requests verification i'm happy to oblige I just hope it's a quick process.

Yes, no problem, as long as you do the 99c as the last one of course

Keep in mind that paypal can still reject supplied documents.

They can decide they do not like your business methods.

well here us a fun little update. I wound up selling the product twice and hitting my selling limits.

The first time I sold it, I forgot to check the "immediate payment required" option and it was purchased by a 0 feedback user who never paid, of course. The second time the user asked me to ship it overseas to a 3rd world country even though his verified paypal address was in california. I opened claims on both sales and won, however the sales were still counting towards my selling limits. I figured I wouldn't be able to sell anything more for a month, but then the next day I got an email saying that my selling limits had been lifted to $9k a month! Awesome.

Even tho 1000/25000 accounts are nice, I have found that my best accounts were 5/500 in terms of limits raised and search rankings, which would mean higher prices.
