Activity: 0% Longevity: 51% | | can paypal freaking do this?
hey guys ,
So i have a total of 3 different paypal accounts, actually used by 3 people, me one of them. not once have we logged into each others account on the same device, computer, hotspot, anything. The other two accounts are family or friends who work for me.
After quiting my job, two months of learning about my products, how business works around it etc, i finally launched. first month was horrible, made like $400 lol and i was getting nervous as my savings just in case things dont work out wont keep me and my family to survive for too long. LONG story short, i got an order one day, then two orders, then three and bam in one day I was making a nice income of over1k. Most buyers preferred paypal so I listened and let them pay to my paypal account of over 6 years of age. Some of my advertisement was on Ebay, they did suspend my account but after talking to them, showing proof of my work and being transparent, the manager fixed the issue and even gave my buyer account a selling limit raise.
ANYWAY, two days of great sales, paypal limits my account. I called, they said its cause sudden increase of payments. I explained, showed proof, did everything right. The agent said no sorry cant help you your account is closed. I didnt give up there, I asked for their supervisor, and then their manager. Anyway, after an hour on the phone with the manager and explaining everhting, he said okay listen, we need to change some of your habits, write this down, etc etc etc. and I did. so he goes okay I need one more thing from you, proof of invoice from jobs you worked for where they offered you these items as gifts and you were just selling them because it was for no use to you. and Then i explained, so no I worked for some companies such as mickeydisney.com and built their websites and they would reward me with gifts. So anyway now he siad he will call me today to make him his mind, if the account will be closed for good or kept open by kept an eye on. Now I dont know what to do, there is literally 8k dollars in there. It was originally 4k but buyers kept buying and it came up to $8k just today. I cant even refund the customers. What if they limit my account for 180 days? what is my next step? This is my lively hood. I cant let this happen. i literally have no money except this income as i invested in it so much. I am even willing to sue as this is my MONEY and its clean and it has not sniff of dirrty fraudely money made. Please anyonem advise what is a good idea to do if worse comes to worse ? plesae wish me luck and pray that this ricky supervisor manager guy doesnt be a dick and shut my life down.
Thank you

Unfortunately, Paypal can shut down ANY account at ANYTIME, and they can hang onto your money for 6 months. This happens EVERYDAY. Paypal must have seen some type of activity that made them suspicious. It seems that you were selling some type of Disney Product, that is a DEATH sentence because Disney products are among the most counterfeited items in the world.
There is really not much that you can do except to make sure that you leave the attached bank accounts to those Paypals active because if they are not they may send a check to the Paypal account holders Name/Address which may cause another problem, not to mention take a lot longer.

Thanks for the response,
IT is my my own real account, real name info and all so yea.
It was not Disney products like soveniers and such. It was ticket tickets, right to the customers door steps. I worked with many disney employees or third party vendors whom had tickets for great deals. I would always be offered free tickets and then i decided to sell them on ebay (As craigslist failed with the out of control amounts of scammers man). So anyway ya they were disney tickets, some were E tickets but even E-tickets I made sure I proceeded real tickets and have it printed, tracked, all the works.... so now i lost all my money just cause paypal felt like these ticket prices were good to be true? ( well fuk ya they were, i got it free and selling them for whatever to get rid of them!)
Any advice? account specliast wants a contract agreement of business I did witha customer who gave me free disney tickets out of being kind..how do i prove that lol

This business model is not going to work well as you can see. You will be having funds held for 180 days constantly.
after 45 days you may be able to get the funds released early if you have no cases, claims, returns or chargebacks.
I would learn stealth quickly and source other areas to sell in as well. Wish you luck.

It be late to give this advice but if they allow you to sell again, maybe sell them close to retail so you don't raise any more flags and could potentially make more money.

Selling Tickets for Disney events may actually be WORSE than selling Disney products, now you are dealing with 2 of the most counterfeited items that are found on Ebay all rolled up into one,,,Tickets AND Disney, do not expect too much help from anyone at Paypal, regardless of whatever case/proof that you think that may have to support your claim that these tickets are legitimate,,
I would make plans to survive a 6 month wait for your money,,,

Hey guys
So with Ebay, after talking to a supervisor, then the head of the supervisor and we discussed business plans and he was talking to me like he was grandpa and I was the young grandchild listening to his wars...lol no joke with the way he was talking to me, he was telling me listen son , please post real pictures of the tickets, even if its E-tickets, cover what you need to keep it secure but post it on profile. then, try to sell the tickets as physical tickets then dont close the listing until they have already went to the park and everything was completed. LONG STORY SHORT, they un-suspended it, made a note on the account by "higher ups" to make sure not to suspend the account again and even increased my selling limit from 3k to 6k lol. (it was suspended twice even after agreeing to their terms, some new employee in the verification department was trigger happy i was told) etc. for Paypal, after working so hard on "faking" documents, it wasnt really faking but i had to twitch a few things so they can see what they wanted, they unlimited the account, released the funds, and I am officially "a business partner" where I have to show them everything I do every once in awhile so they dont get suspicious again, Meh the headaches man. But thank god righht, beggers cant be choosers. Yesterday I was on the verge on breaking my computer screens and now im contempt so ,,deeeeep breathhhhhhhe. Thank you all ! and RSOT, not welcome to the forums , its welcome back :P you wont remember me but when I first came to this forums back when the forums literally just started and you just became a executive, you used to help me with everything and I learned a lot from you. Too bad my account auto deleted for not being on for so long. much love all!

No matter how deserving of this result you might have been, because of the way they do things, this is a miracle. Treat it like one.... Go slow and careful! Best of luck!

Glad it worked out for you, you also need to watch these free/discounted tickets, they are not for resale usually -often in T&C...you can get reported for it. If I were to sell these in future, I would have a backup story for what the payments are for too - websites would be better (you mentioned those) Also paypal is not a bank account, they take your money.Withdraw regularly, I literally leave 2 refunds and fees in there and withdraw every week, from a handful of smaller paypals, not just one big one......
