Whats going on with VUMBER??

I read a new thread this morning that stated that vumber was not working with ebay. I went to reply and the thread vanished?? It stated it was a invalid thread...Whats up with that.

Anyway I also tried calling ebay with VUMBER and it does not work just like a few of the earlier members stated in the other new thread that vanished.

Ebaykilla had asked a question about if VUMBER had blacklisted ebay.
Im also curious as to whats going on and why would they blacklist a company?

I just got confirmation directly from Vumber that they blocked eBay verification numbers. VUMBER R.I.P.

Vumber customer service told me the same this morning.

Why would they block there number. What the issue in doing that.

Anyone know why that other thread vanished like that??

Why does a company like VUMBER blacklist a number/company like ebay???

I suspect that Ebay/Paypal has contacted them at some point and made some type of monetary deal with them.

Any other good virtural numbers can use, other then a trac phone. This is bad news for me because had mutiple accounts.

So I wonder if eBay paid them more then they were making off of ALL the folks that were using them to get around eBay's confirmation phone call?

vumber is going to die a slow death much like tossable digits. it makes more sense to keep getting that $10 + from the hundreds if not thousands of users every month for ebay.

Why would eBay pay vumber? They would never do that...

All they need to do is send them an email explaining the situation... and let them know the numbers in question.. easy..

Either that or vumber got tired of people using trial accounts for verifying stuff like eBay and PayPal.. it's not just this forum... there are thousands of ebay and PayPal members that need a quick fix as ebaykilla mentioned above.

So much for that. I really liked vumber. Its ease of use and features were great.

Would it be okay to say it here? It would probally make it get blacklisted quicker, but they all do anyway.

Well if it's good, it could go faster... but we'll put up walls around it to keep it going as long as we can.
