I need some advice on getting an account reinstated.
 

Hi,

Close to 1 year ago I got indefinitely suspended from eBay for a minimum of 12 months. I was suspended for putting a Windows flag icon in some of my auctions. One of Microsoft’s police reported my auctions to eBay and my account was suspended a few days later.

Instead of trying to make a stealth account, I decided to wait the 12 months and see if I can get reinstated. I had the account for over 10 years and had positive feedback over 10,000 and 99.8 positive, so I would like to get it reinstated if possible.

Does anyone here have any advice on how I should go about trying to get reinstated? Should I send an email first through their system or is there some other way that might have a better chance. I’ve tried contacting them before by email and all I got was an automated form reply. Has anyone else had any success at getting their account reinstated and if so, what did you do? Do you think going on live chat and explaining what happened might help. Any advice on this would be very much appreciated.

Call 800-322-9266 ext.55130 and tell them what happened ask for instructions for reinstatement...be nice ;)

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed. I think if I can talk to a person I might have a good chance of getting reinstated.
